护生乐园

On 14 Dec 2008, I went to 护生乐园 in JB. Don't ask me the address..... I don't know. Do you still remember MediaCorp artise, 谢绍光? He quit his job as an artise and now become a "farmer" in this 护生乐园. Hahaha.....No lah... not really farmer...... he is a share holder in this farm, but you can't see him in the farm too often. I heard he always station at another place.
This farm is a mini zoo to me....... they take care of those animal which is being abuse by human such as cats and dogs. But you can see some cows, goat, monkey and other animals there as well. And each animal has it own story behind it....... can be very pitty.
There are hundreds of cats and dogs there....... and if you passed by those cats, you might found some of them losses their eyes. Why? Because some people had dig out their eyes.... eeeeee. Before these cats had been taken care by this mini zoo. Their hang out is at JB some hawker centre...... and those stall owner afraid the cats will eat their raw foods away at night, so they come out with an ideal of digging away their eyes........ Alamak...... can't imagine.
And there is one monkey.... wah...... already had as many life as a cat. People always said, cats had 9 lifes, and I think this monkey have too......
Some Malaysian still have the hunting habit. They went into jungle and hunt for wild pig or other wild animals. So when the "zoo keeper" found the monkey, its body have 9 bullets holes. Wah......... And so lucky he had been rescued and recovered from its injury.
And there is another monkey lost it hand. Also due to gun shot.
Of course there are many many other stories...... but no time for everyone. So just enjoy some of the pics below.

Giant tortise. Having it lunch very very very slowly.......

Is there any Boyfriend on RENT?

Aiyo...... headache, headache, headache again........... Lately, I realise that my yoga teacher seems like promoting me and try to "sell" me off ...... hahahaha.......

She is a 50+ years old aunty, and she is really a tropical aunty as well. She is a very very very kind hearted person (热心肠). She always treat me like her daughter. Help to push PA to get my Trainer approval asap. Help to plan classes for me. Help to look for yoga lobang for me. When there is slot in CC, she will try her way to grab hold on it and pass the classes to me.

Then lately, she tends to promote me to her students........ *faint*. Telling them I am still single. I am how good, how good, how good........ and always put her time in Yoga and no time to look for BF. *Faint* (her students are mainly aunties). Then all these aunties start to chit chat, start to talk about who who who also a single...................*Faint wake up and faint again*

And today when she called my HP, her first sentence is......."your boyfriend is looking for you. He is asking for your mobile number" Dae..... dae..... dae............. 听得我一头雾水???? Huh? What?

Aiya....... finally, I know who is he liao...... he is just a classmate during the YogaDance workshop lah. Because during the practices, I happened to be his dance mate. And from there my teacher start teasing me. She stop for a while liao.... but then hor........ 2 weeks back, we had a yogadance gathering again...... and sigh! She start again! Aiyo........... haiz........ *被Aunty打败*.........Dae..... Dae..... Dae. (3 big sweat dripping from my forehead).

Maybe I should rent a boyfriend and show him infront of those aunties! hahaha..... LOL........ 韩剧看台多了!Sooo..... drama...... hahahaha......

What a surprise!

Yesterday, I went dinner with my group of poly BEST friends.......... and I was surprised when Maine told me she having 6wks pregnancy! Wah......... my reaction was....... shocked more than surprised! haha..... but of course after that feel happy for her and JFK lah!

Although they always claim, they don't know how to handle babys / dealing with them. But I believe both of them make it and can be a good parent too. Can tell they always have fun of "torturing" the kids..... haha........ (Ok, I admit..... me too......)

I remember a friend from Taiwan told me, she feel her life is more stable then ever after she got married and now with a baby. She feel herself get root on the ground.

Ya, maybe she is right. When you set up a family, you will get root automatically.

Summon

Sigh! Kanna summon when I went for a BYSI warehouse sales over the weekend (sunday). The economy really that bad ar, those "aunty" and "unlce" must work more harder / fines more harder then ever? They must come out and work double during the weekend, and furthermore the location is industrial area!
You know what, I bought 2 pcs of blouse. One at S$29 (U.P S$49) and the other at S$26 (U.PS$43) so total for both pcs are S$55 (U.P S$92). But after adding in the summon which fines me at S$50. My 2 blouses cost me S$105! Wah Lau Eh! More expensive then the U.P S$92. Hahahaha........ really 得不偿失...... Suck! :( hehe.........
Anyway, I had wrote to appeal for a waiver and let'd see how........ if not.......egrrrrr.......... Banned BYSI clothes forever..... hahahaha.................. Actually, they know the carpark attendent were around the corners, but they did not info their customer. What kind of bad service they had..... hehe........ (start to blame on others liao)
Even if you park illegally outside the kopitam, the Kopitam uncle will shout and info everyone lah.......... This will make your customer feel save and come back to you mah......... Doing business is not a matters of your products and brand! To me, services are much more important. With good services, customers will get back to you more frequent.
Between, is not that I don't want to look for a parking lot hor........ is just that the place do not have enough parking lots. I think the whole stretch of lane only 2-3 parking lots...... where got enough! Moreover, it was a SALES! And the Sales organiser also did not instruct their customers where to park their vehicles.........

Sigh! Why I get sick again.

Sianz.... same sickness as last mth. Sore throat, nose block, cough, strengthless. Haiz.... must be eat too heaty + not enough rest and sleep + running here and there. That day my friend just said I am old liao..... haha... I think I must admit. Lately sleep quite late at 1 to 2 o'clock , ended up.... now sick lor. Wah Lau Eh...... can't "dong meh" liao......... How to chiong like that..... haha..... still thinking of going Disco.... haha..... wait sleep at the dancing pool how? Hahaha....

My new Toy.

Sitex is here and just nice I am hunting for a GPS for my future trip to Malaysia…. Hehe… if it really happen lah! Wah lau eh! Really a great knowledge if you really wanna to buy a GPS. I had been reading it this few days. I went into Cnets to see the editor commends, reading some of the forum, and viewing the specs from the web.

Oh…… So many things need to be considered (got the below from one of the website).

1) Screen size and sound are important. Must be readable and bright during days and nights. Buttons must be big enough for our fingers. Sound quality must be there as driving noise can make it difficult to hear. Must be loud and clear.

2) Downloadable maps and memory. Good to purchase one that has the ability to download maps, so that your map doesn’t get outdated. Able to update maps frequently. Some of the forum mentioned that certain brand can download S’pore and M’sia Maps only, such as Shinco. They do not have the ability to download other country maps so must be careful.

Some GPS had pre-download Maps, but some might not and you will need to pay for the maps. There are a few website which you can download the maps such as http://www.mapking.com.sg/ and http://www.malsingmaps.com/portal/.

3) The time it takes a GPS to find and display information. Now, I know in total there are 40 satellites out there in the space. And half of the world is using 20 of them and the other half of the world is using the other 20 of them (info get from Sitex exhibitor – hopefully it is correct.). So in a GPS, the more channels the unit has the better the reception it is.

4) Do the GPS have Text to speech function? This not only tell you “Turning left or right”, but also telling you street names.

5) Types of Batteries are used with the GPS. Lithium or AA battery or special manufacturer bat.

6) Bluetooth. Do you need a Bluetooth while driving? With Bluetooth the driver can make and receive hand-free calls through the unit’s speaker and microphone, and view their telephone book and access caller ID on the screen.

After reading up the info from web and attended the Sitex…… I really gain lots of knowledge about GPS…. Haha…..

I personally feel that the trickiest part would be the Downloadable maps and memory. Many manufacturers or Sellers or traders play trick on this. Hum….. how to say leh…… Hummmm…… They can make it so customize that they programmed it to certain limit and just make you go back to them to buy the maps and don’t allow you to used Free Download maps. They provide you a certain period (such as 1 year) free updates. And subsequently, you need to pay a sum to purchase the update or new maps.
I guess this is the way they earn money for long term.

Initially, I wanna to buy the high end GPS, Garmin, and I think it is really the best compare to other brand such as Mobella, Mio, Holux and a brand from Korea (forget the brand name) in the show. But after consideration, I got a Mio C320 instead. It is at a price of SGD299.

Of course the price…… I think I will not use this toy very often. I still can manage Singapore Road. Although I get lost sometimes, but the road sign in Singapore are so clear. I don’t really need to relay on GPS unless I am in a hurry and not time to flip through street directory. My main purpose is Malaysia usage only.

And this device is good enough for Malaysia. It has a wide screen of 4.3”. The screen is very readable at all angles and with or without lights. The speaker is loud and clear. They are using Tele Altas Maps (Europe well know maps provider, even Garmin also using it). The cons is can’t download Malsing Map. It build in 1GB memory and expandable of SD Card. It had 20 Channels which compare to Garmin nuvi 205w only 12 Channels. They told me text to speech function can be updated in 2 weeks time. Presently, no Postal Code search, but upgradeable in 2 weeks time as well. And then I demand more such as Speed camera, Red light Camera and ERP gantry alert function……. And heehee…… they promise to programmed it for me at zero cost…… hahaha…… hopefully, they don’t break their promise. :p (Not every brand come with all this function). Using Lithium battery and no Bluetooth. Anyway, Bluetooth is not impt to me as I had a headset.

And if I am not wrong, it would be good to have only stand alone GPS without Bluetooth. The in coming call will affect the GPS such cut off the direction instruction when u are driving). Reason because you are having a conversation with the other party. (I think JFK told me that before also.)

And I will foresee this toy will not last years. I realize many people will tend to trade in after 1 or 2 years. Then they get a better model. Is like mobile phone. Will be more and more common and price will drop further. So at the time being, no point having the high end and no point getting the low end as well….. just an average one will do.

I saw the Holux and Mobella, wow….. have a lot of features but the quality of the maps vision is NOT good.

Ok. End here……….. This Sitex, I really grab a few things…… haha…. at the same times went over to John Little Mega Sales to grab a few dirt cheap items as well…. Haha…. What a great shopping! No money? Hum… next year then say! :p
