Giant Grouper

Today, there is something suddenly strikes onto me to write this blog.

There was once a friend asked me “since you love diving so much, will you still take fishes / seafood?” And I replied “Yes, I do take them.” Then she added “my friend does not take them anymore since they like it so much.” And I was *daeeee........* (--)

Yes. I do have friends that didn't take seafood anymore after the dive. They said “Just now, we just saw them happily swimming in the sea and now we are going to eat them. It was like yucks.” Another *daeee..............* (--) again...... you win already lor.......... Haahaa........

Actually, I almost forgot about an incident that I really refused to take cooked fishes after I came back from the diving trip. The story started with.......... Once a upon a time, there was a young lady went for her diving trip ......... (long winded again)................

During one of my diving trip, I saw a very very big grouper. You can called it a 阿妈 / 阿公 Grouper OR you can called it a Gouper Jinx........... Anyway it was a Giant Grouper in short lah...... Hehe......... This Giant Grouper was about 1.2m to 1.5m long and was very fat also lah. Somewhere nearby it, there was a baby grouper which was about 0.8m long.

Normally, it was very difficult to spot a Giant Grouper. You need to have a pair of POWERFUL sharp eyes. It was because they were very good in hiding in between the corals. Their natural born skin tone made them camouflage very well. Then how do you spotted them? By looking at the movement of their Operculum (Gill Cover) then you can noticed them. When they were changing their breath their Operculum will move in and out. Grouper always look very unhappy. It seems like you owned them million thousand of dollar. They had thick到不可以的lips and a 大不可以的 “n” shape mouth that made them look very unhappy.

*aeeee......... why I am talking about this grouper ar? Hum? *

Oh! Yes! During that time I kept staring at this grouper and intend to take photo so I must fin slowly toward it. But the more I looked at it face, the more I felt scary. Because it face was like hey.............“I am very unhappy with you. You must had been owed me million thousand dollar before in your last life and you better pay your debts now”............. so this grouper face kept floating in my mind lor.

About a week later, back at home, my mum steam grouper fish head with chili gravy on top. At first, I was like Oh! Fish head! Yummy! (I love to take fish meats than other kind of meats) I started to take a few pieces........... But when I look at it head, I was like............. Suck.......... this fish head look like the very unhappy grouper fish which I saw during my dive trip. I started to scan through the fish head:- it spotted tone skin, it thick 到不可以的 lips and the very unhappy “n” shape mouth. Oh shit! My mind kept floating out it "alive" face, with the Operculum keep moving in and out......... then I tell my mum, sorry you had to finish the fish head yourself............... didn't feel like eating it anymore.

****actually, Giant Grouper is a very gentle fishes, they are very sensitive. When you intend to go close to them, your movement must be slow and gentle….. movement too big will drive them away so actually, don’t need to be afraid of them.****

Simple Emails Mean A Lot

Today, I am too free at work, so I decide to clear my junk mail in the hotmail. I read each and everyone of my mails, and then decide whether shall I delete it or not. When I come to the below emails, my mind start floating out pictures on the trip to Taiwan. Until now, I am able to remember what's the feeling while I am writing those emails to my dear friends.

Hello All,
I reach hualien since yesterday. There is a corge here and is very beautiful..... although the typhoon is coming but the local here recommend us to proceed to Hualien to visit this corge. If not, after typhoon it will cause alot of damage. And then today, the government here announce to shut down due to typhoon. So I am very boring here. Most of the shop are close, and place of interest are close too. So nothing to do lor. Heehee, lucky, I met this 2 ladies from Singapore, orelse I will be very very boring. They are going to stay in Taiwan for 17 days, so I see how first depend on the typhoon. If most of the place is demage or affected, then I will come back early. Because >fter typhoon, Central and southern of Taiwan will heavily flooded or landscape. I am very excited and waiting for the typhoon to come, never expereince before, very curious. Ok, see tomorrow can I walk over a street to come to this internet cafe to write email or not.

What typhoon...........errrrrr.............. :( Did not arrive in Hualien lah....... :( All the shop closes, but they typhoon did not arrive...... Sian.... and I just wasted one day at Hualien. Anyway, today finally I am able to go out, so I go ocean park.... heehee.... I am at Green Island now. It is an island near to Tai Dong. I stay here for 2 days liao. A very beautiful plc. there is a sea hot spring here.... tomorrow will go there to see sunrise. And in the afternoon will go back to stay Taipei.... and will say bye bye to my new back pack friends liao. Anyway.... I have fun here lah. Dear All,
Oh.... Too Bad, this island is still in Asia, therefore, not much Chio Bus. But alot of young mei mei (primary school student) or old Ah yi (aunty)...... you want or not? But is fun in Green Island lah. We rent a car in this small island and I am the driver. Can you imagine, I am driving a left hand car and up and down the mountain in the middle of the night without any road lights on both side of the road? Haha... very exciting experience. But it is a Auto car lah...... I am not that expert. And this island is rather very small, is only half the size of singapore. Total 1 round trip just need about 1 hr. Heeheee......I am at Taipei alone now, need to go see see look look liao...... Talk to you guys again.
