Questions and Answer time again:

Question : People are wondering why putting so much effort in this exhibition? Even the exhibition is successful, we might not 100% get approval by PA as a PA trainer. Even if we get approval by PA, we might not have our own classes too because we still need to write in to each CC to propose our courses.

Answer : Just try your best to do things which you are interested in. Put the results or rewards aside and enjoy the process. If you are really looking into rewards, then my rewards is knowing how to use Photoshop CS. Without such a chance, do you think I will make an effort to learn this software? Although I am not an expert now, but at least I know how to use the basic command.

Question : All human beings are selfish! So while doing things, don't do a mile extra.

Answer : Nobody is perfect! But not all human beings are selfish. Is you yourself choosing to be a selfish being or not a selfish being only. The choice is yours! And the degree of selfishness in each human beings is different that's all.

(sound sooo serious this round.)

Genting. As Usual.

Just came back from Kota Tinggi and work for another 2 days. Then I went to Malaysia again. I went Genting with my sisters on 06 Aug till 10 Aug. Now I am very tired. *yawn*.

Aiya, I didn’t gamble lah! Go Genting sure must go gambling one mah! Heehee…… But my sister BF did lah that’s why he always used his Genting point to sign another room for me and my 2nd sis lor! Love the weather there, cooling, cooling one, shiok! Shiok! But the expenses there were really very high. Each day can spent about RM200+. :P (for me lah!) Not including makan hor. My sis paid for it. The makan really ex. Then we chose to eat good food lagi ex. But I realized one thing, KL expenses also not cheap either. Wow! Can’t imagine they earn that little but the standard of living was that high.

After check-in to the Hotel room, we went to KL. We took their Genting coach/bus to KL – Titiwansa bus terminal. Per trip is only RM5.05 per person and journey about an hour. Next to the Titiwansa Bus terminal, there were LRT and Monorail Station. So it depended on where you wanted to go, and then chose either LRT or Monorail. Oh, there was a bus stop too, but I don’t know what bus to take so place safe, take train (hmmm….. maybe next time I will study it and try their buses).

I went Times SQ, Chinatown and KLCC before, so this round I chose to go Mid Valley Mega Mall. It was further than Time SQ (further down to southern part of KL. We took monorail from Titiwansa and stop at KL Sentral station (RM2.50). Then from there, we transfer to their KTM Komputer (electric train) at KL Sentral to Mid Valley Station (RM1).

In Singapore, all our MRT or LRT were linked, even though there were 2 different companies operating it (SMRT and SBSTransit). Our stations structures were nicely done, such as there were enough shelters, you would not get wet during rain or shine, there will be toilet outside each stations.

But in KL, NO hor………. I can understand why they have more than 2 compaines operating the LRT / monorail / train. But each of them was doing their own business and they were not really inter-link.

E.g from KL Sentral monorail to KL Sentral Train Station, they are not linked by underground passage or overhead bridge. You must cross the road and walk to the other building. And that day was raining cats and dogs…… so everybody get wet.

Aiyo, there toilet worst. They built it inside the train station --> means after you paid for the ticket and got into the gate entry, then you can used their toilet lor. That means, NOT PULBIC toilet. It was a PAID toilet……… haha. Some even worst, no toilet at all.

Beside that, the best thing was ……. Hehe…… You can stand in the train station and waited for 30 mins for it to arrive (KTM Komputer Line). Actually, the journey from KL Sentral to Mid Valley was less than 5 mins distance but ended up you were using about 30-45 mins to reach the destination. It was because 30 mins waiting time and about 5-15 mins for the train to break down / stop half way. Haha…… Not I said only hor…… a KL lady told me the same thing as well hor. Their trains always breakdown due to LOW / NO maintenance and she always need to came out 15 mins earlier to work. (but the fare was cheap, RM1.00, so what you expect?)

So conclusion : Singapore is a very good place liao, mian hiam liao! (wow lau eh! Pro government ar!) Hahaha………..

So long winded and yet to talk about the shopping…… haiz……

Wow seh! It was Malaysia Mega Sales leh! But hor, the things still very ex leh! How come???? Just a T-Shirt it can started from RM70-100…… and the brand I never heard before (maybe I mountain tortoise lah, was their in house brand…. I don’t know lah!) But no matter how I still feel very ex lah……. Everytime, I looked at the price tag, I always saw RM79, 89, 99, 109……… wow……. Ended up, just window shopping. I think Great Singapore Sales was much much much cheaper then in KL!

In the evening, we went back to the same place to take coach/bus back to Genting. This driver was really a road rider. The road was so curve and steep, he still can speed! Shit! Haha.....

Nothing much to talk about Genting lah….. I went there too many times liao. Still the same lor! Take little photos too. When I was there, I just eat & sleep & shop, AND THEN eat & sleep & shop AND MORE eat & sleep & shop. Hehee…… of course gain weight lah!

Go Kota Tinggi to do yoga to loss weight, ended up go Genting to gain double of what I had lost. Haha…….. Silly RIGHT!

Took from our resort room.

Yoga Retreat at Kota Tinggi - 01 Aug till 03 Aug 2008

Went for a Yoga Retreat on last weekend. It was a short retreat, but was really very very very very fun. All of us have common interest in yoga, and I learn new things too! And that was Iridology (talk about it later)!

This retreat was organized by my teacher, her sister and her brother-in-law and some of her friends. They were all PA trainer. The spearhead was her brother-in-law, Steve. He was the leader who planned the whole programme.

Initial, they planned to have the retreat in Singapore, aloha chalet at Changi but didn’t know how come ended up in Malaysia – Kota Tinggi. Their charging was considered cheap, just SGD300 for 3D2N. It was hardly to get this price in the market for a retreat.

This was my first visit to Kota Tinggi (always passed by during trip to diving, but never stop and stay there before). Hum…….. If you ask me how was the place? I would say GOOD, but must go with a group of friends / families. If went alone or with a small group of friends, it can be very boring.

We stay in Kota Tinggi Rainforest Resort. Don’t think that Resort means their facilities will be excellent hor……. There was a swimming pool, but NOT SPA hor….. haha….. there was a student thought of going to spa in the resort and so she changed plenty of money. Haha……There were more outdoor activities / obstacles. It was like an outward bound, for students / team building.

The surrounding was rainforest! But I like it! The main attraction in Kota Tinggi was the Famous Waterfalls and the river cruise Fireflies………. Hehe……

On the 1st night, we can either chose to go Pasar Malam or Fireflies. Of course give up the Pasar Malam lah! Makan is NOT important NOW. Hehe….. And I really had great fun in the Fireflies Trip! Wow……….萤火虫、萤火虫、慢慢飞。。。。。夏夜里、夏夜里、风轻吹。。。。。made me think of this song sung by 伊能静。

Do you ever saw a Firefly before? A few years back, I saw it once in Singapore forest and was only 2 flies on the leaves. Huh? What am I doing in the forest at night? LOL…….. Aiya….so easy! Camping lor! That time I joined, a group in CC so they organized lah! (Out of topic again!)

Ok, back to the Fireflies. We booked for the trip at RM20 and the resort in charge will drive us to a small jetty to transfer to a 20 seaters boat (bigger san pan). Then we started our cruise in the river. Wow……. It was soooooo nice……… When you looked up in the sky, it was full of stars! Very bright stars, sparkling. Then when u looked at 2 sides of the river bank, you will saw branches of Fireflies, sparkling as well. How to say? Hum…… you know Christmas tress with lights on it? That was the effect! The fireflies were all over on the branches of trees/mangroves trees. Wow……. So nice…..

The boat man was so good. He was an “Ah Pek”. He knew a lot of things about Fireflies.
E.g: the life span of Fireflies was 1 month instead of 1 week (which reported in the paper). When the boatman shines a torch on them, individual flies will off it lights! (hehe…... because of energy saving mah! (节省能源)….. haha…... 萤火虫 also know how to "省电"........... haha... Not bad ar!).

The boat man also tried to cruise near to the branches, and catch a few flies for us to have a closer look. Oh! It was tinny little one. They even stay at my friend hands for quite sometimes then fly away. The flyflies season started from chinese 端午节till 中秋节.

The boat man eyesight supper POWERFUL GOOD! There were no lamps along the river and was very dark. But yet he can spot monkeys on top of the tree.

Boatman : 有没有看到一群猴子在树上?
We : 哪里?哪里?
Boatman : 那里!
We : 哪里?哪里?
Boatman : 那里
(And we keep on 哪里?and 那里!.......... Seraching high and low, still can’t see the monkeys)

Finally, he turned on his BIG torch light, and we really saw monkeys resting on top of the tree. After the nice nice watch…… we went back to the resort and rest. But on the way back, some student wanna to go buy durians....... hehe......

Next day morning, some of us went to the waterfall…..

Enjoy the pics below:

Senkang CC students. Mixture of different instructors students.

One of my "student" - Actually is my teacher student, but I am assisting my teacher. So she is "part" of my student as well lah! Hehe. I remember last year teachers' day, she give me an accessories that hang on HP. (hum..... what's that called?) And there was aonther group of student give me a tupeware mug. I was soooooo touch during that moment. An assistant yoga instructor also can get gifts.... hehe.......

I bought them chocolate as a return, and they said:" you should give us the chocolate during childrens' day." They are all aunty with kids / children liao, but heart still so young........ Haha...... hmmm...... maybe I can do it this year! :) Let them have a feel of being a "children"! LOL!

Reached the resort and we had bonding game. They were trying to introducing each other.

We wake up very early at around 5am for the 1st session, mediation! After that we went for cleansing of nostril. This pics shows after doing cleansing of nostril, they are trying "squeeze" out the excess water from their nose.

We had sun saluation by the pool. Very shiok! Love it! We do 75 rounds of sun saluation (each round there are 10 steps) in 30 mins time. After doing it, the whole body aching and sweat alot......... haha......

This resort was surounded by mountians......... See next time have chances to go again.... then can go mountian trekking. :)

My ex-colleague - Meggy (in Red). She is the one who introduce me yoga. Next is a trainee..... she is about late 40s early 50s but hor........... she is very flexible.

Entrance of Kota Tinggi Waterfalls. There was an entrance fees of RM9.

Another resort - Please don't expect good accomodation here hor....... just very basic.

Only 7 of us went to the waterfall. The rest stay in the resort.

Here is the lowest part of the waterfall.

3 out of 7 of us went into the waterfall........ Of course, I will be one of them also lah! Initially, no intension to swim inside the pool...... but hor.... this 2 "girls" lah! Temp me alot..... ended up buay tahan.... just "craw” into it. (the rocks were so slippery so used "craw" one lor!) Alot of algae...... hmmm...... abit yakky lah. Hehee.

You can climb up the staircase to a higher sight to view this waterfall......... not allow to swim or dive here.

Wow...... nice, nice...... rainforest!

We had a special or "bonus" session here. It was Iridology. Never heard before right! Haha..... very simple. This study was about Iris. From your Iris, it can tell which part of you body had problems. E.g. If you had thyroid, your right eye at 2:30 (clock direction) point or left eye at 9:30 (clock direction) point, there will be a dark line on your iris. This session was given by an instructor called Asha. She learnt it from China.

How does this Iridology come about? It from Europe ....... sorry ar, I have forgotten which country of Europe but is from an Ang Mo lah!

One day, he wanted to catch an Owl and he did it. But he accidentally broken the owl leg while catching it so he try to heal it. During the treatment, he found out that at certain angle of the owl iris turn dark / dark lines so he started to observe it. He realised that the owl iris turn to a brighter colour when it leg had completely recovered. He had studying it for many years on iris..... and finally, he introduce it into China Market.

Now you know why doctors used a torch to shine into your eyes liao right? Or doctors shine into a person eyes and delcare whether is he/she still alive right?

It was quite difficult to see the dark lines in your eyes using bare eyes. They had a special equipment to cup onto your eyes and scan into the computer. But I am not the lucky one, when almost my turn to scan my eyes the machine down. Hehe...... that's fate. :p

This course is about SGD1000+, anybody interested can contact me. I can intro you to Asha. I am abit "gian" to learn lah.... but not now. Lately spent to much, broke liao!

(you may double click to enlage it)

Class photos.

Intro you all the instructors:

Last row from the left --> Steve, Linda, Kelly, Irene (my teacher) and Jorina.

First row from the left --> Asha (speaker of Iridology).

The wooden bridge at the resort.

All nice nice people here...... what a sucessful retreat. :)

My Teacher asked me to orgaise the next retreat........ hmmmm....... see how. Got time then say. Now, I NEED SLEEP!!! *yawn*
