Just came back from Kota Tinggi and work for another 2 days. Then I went to Malaysia again. I went Genting with my sisters on 06 Aug till 10 Aug. Now I am very tired. *yawn*.
Aiya, I didn’t gamble lah! Go Genting sure must go gambling one mah! Heehee…… But my sister BF did lah that’s why he always used his Genting point to sign another room for me and my 2nd sis lor! Love the weather there, cooling, cooling one, shiok! Shiok! But the expenses there were really very high. Each day can spent about RM200+. :P (for me lah!) Not including makan hor. My sis paid for it. The makan really ex. Then we chose to eat good food lagi ex. But I realized one thing, KL expenses also not cheap either. Wow! Can’t imagine they earn that little but the standard of living was that high.
After check-in to the Hotel room, we went to KL. We took their Genting coach/bus to KL – Titiwansa bus terminal. Per trip is only RM5.05 per person and journey about an hour. Next to the Titiwansa Bus terminal, there were LRT and Monorail Station. So it depended on where you wanted to go, and then chose either LRT or Monorail. Oh, there was a bus stop too, but I don’t know what bus to take so place safe, take train (hmmm….. maybe next time I will study it and try their buses).
I went Times SQ, Chinatown and KLCC before, so this round I chose to go Mid Valley Mega Mall. It was further than Time SQ (further down to southern part of KL. We took monorail from Titiwansa and stop at KL Sentral station (RM2.50). Then from there, we transfer to their KTM Komputer (electric train) at KL Sentral to Mid Valley Station (RM1).
In Singapore, all our MRT or LRT were linked, even though there were 2 different companies operating it (SMRT and SBSTransit). Our stations structures were nicely done, such as there were enough shelters, you would not get wet during rain or shine, there will be toilet outside each stations.
But in KL, NO hor………. I can understand why they have more than 2 compaines operating the LRT / monorail / train. But each of them was doing their own business and they were not really inter-link.
E.g from KL Sentral monorail to KL Sentral Train Station, they are not linked by underground passage or overhead bridge. You must cross the road and walk to the other building. And that day was raining cats and dogs…… so everybody get wet.
Aiyo, there toilet worst. They built it inside the train station --> means after you paid for the ticket and got into the gate entry, then you can used their toilet lor. That means, NOT PULBIC toilet. It was a PAID toilet……… haha. Some even worst, no toilet at all.
Beside that, the best thing was ……. Hehe…… You can stand in the train station and waited for 30 mins for it to arrive (KTM Komputer Line). Actually, the journey from KL Sentral to Mid Valley was less than 5 mins distance but ended up you were using about 30-45 mins to reach the destination. It was because 30 mins waiting time and about 5-15 mins for the train to break down / stop half way. Haha…… Not I said only hor…… a KL lady told me the same thing as well hor. Their trains always breakdown due to LOW / NO maintenance and she always need to came out 15 mins earlier to work. (but the fare was cheap, RM1.00, so what you expect?)
So conclusion : Singapore is a very good place liao, mian hiam liao! (wow lau eh! Pro government ar!) Hahaha………..
So long winded and yet to talk about the shopping…… haiz……
Wow seh! It was Malaysia Mega Sales leh! But hor, the things still very ex leh! How come???? Just a T-Shirt it can started from RM70-100…… and the brand I never heard before (maybe I mountain tortoise lah, was their in house brand…. I don’t know lah!) But no matter how I still feel very ex lah……. Everytime, I looked at the price tag, I always saw RM79, 89, 99, 109……… wow……. Ended up, just window shopping. I think Great Singapore Sales was much much much cheaper then in KL!
In the evening, we went back to the same place to take coach/bus back to Genting. This driver was really a road rider. The road was so curve and steep, he still can speed! Shit! Haha.....
Nothing much to talk about Genting lah….. I went there too many times liao. Still the same lor! Take little photos too. When I was there, I just eat & sleep & shop, AND THEN eat & sleep & shop AND MORE eat & sleep & shop. Hehee…… of course gain weight lah!
Go Kota Tinggi to do yoga to loss weight, ended up go Genting to gain double of what I had lost. Haha…….. Silly RIGHT!
