3rd Review after Lasik

On 12 Sep 2008, I went for my final review at The lasik surgery clinic. Now I know why I still can’t see very clearly at night, sometimes, even day time.

When I reached there, they did a power check on my both eye. After that, they did an full eye test (which means by reading the wordings and colour from the projector) on me. During the test, haha.... you yourself can sense whether is your eye sight perfect or not. Haiz....

After the test, doctor will ask me in to examine my cornea using a scope. He will check whether was the flap lay properly on my eye? Was there bubble while recovering? Then Dr Yap told me...... “Ok, everything is fine. You don’t need to come back anymore.”

Hehe.... now was my Q&A session again.... I asked him, my vision is blurred. He told me due to driness so I must remember to put eye drops. Then I asked him, how was my eye power? I can’t read certain small wording. Then he told me, I still had a little bit of asti.... Left eye 50 and Right eye 25. Sigh!!!! Hate to hear asti.

Then he continued, no point to go for another round of treatment just because of such a low asti. And it was very difficult to get rid of low asti. Huh! Sigh, again! I really dislike asti.... Always double vision. If both side 25, I still can accept but no lor!

Then I continue to ask him, will my asti increase further? Then he answered that my degree most likely will not increase further..... so means what? I am asking asti not degree leh? I don’t really understand? But hor forget it lah.... Since he said 50 and 25 asti was considered low and difficult to get rid. What to do? Accept it lor

My sister asked me, so you wanna to do enhancement till perfect vision? I told her siao arh...... Doctor also said difficult to get rid of low asti liao...... My backside itchy is it! Furthermore, must go all over again because of such a bearable asti? Not worth. Right now, although blur vision, but I still don't need to wear a spectacles. I told her..... waiting until one day, I got the “lau hua” then I do Lasik again…. Definitely not NOW lor.

Tell you one thing. When meeting the doctor sessions, it was around 1.30pm. But hor, Dr Yap had not taken his lunch. His lunch was still on his desk.... Can tell the food was cold liao...... Very pity him. And I realize all the doctors lunch in one lor. There will be an “ah sum” bring their lunch in for them. Their business really very very good lor........
