Letter from SDU-SDS.
Errrrhhhh...... That day, I received a letter from SDU-SDS, informing me SDU and SDS had been mergered. So MY SDS member will automatically be converted into the SDU-SDS Classic Membership, starting form 28 Jan 2009. Then they give me a Login password asking me to login within 30 days to change the password. ????????
Errrrhhhhh........ Huh????? When did I sign up SDS? Did I do so?????? Huh??? OR SDU-SDS sooooooo 神通广大？ Knowing I am still single and not attached? Really very 匪夷所思lor! I really can't remember I apply for it before leh!!!! Really a very BIG question mark in my head.
Anyway, there is an attached membership application form, mentioning the annual fee of the membership is $10, fee applies for new members & renewals only.......... Another BIG BIG Question Mark????? Did I pay for this membership before???? But I think and think and think ...... bo leh........ I didn't apply so where come the payment?
But without payment, how come they give me the password to login???? Does it mean they give me this SDU-SDS Classic membership FOC????? Are they so desperate to "marry" me off???? Hahaha....... Government ar.... Am I too old to stay as a single???? Haha.... Is your statistic really show that bad on the increasing of singles????..... Are the singles really that worrisome to you??? Hahaha.......... :p Joking lah..... haha.
Anyway, FOC..... so I login lor....... haha.... Then it come out a list of term and agreement...... Heck lah..... Where got the patient to read it so I just click on I agreed. Haha..... then it come out "Update Profile". There are a few default which they had already setup for me such as my name, gender, martial status and address. The rest I must filled in myself, such as Personal Particular, Qualification, Employment record and Contact details.
Haha....... so I slowly scroll down..... then I spotted in the Gender column, the default shows "MALE"...... haha....... and I can't make any changes (default can only change by SDU-SDS). Huh????? I am a guy. Hehehe.... so my little "devil" thought coming out. Since it shows a MALE, then why not update some of the particular which I want to show, and then play play lah....... Haha. No harm playing a fool mah! :p (very bad hor!)
After entering some of the particular, I click on submit. Oh! they prompted, please enter the column on "perfered name" and then after a few try in different column...... then I realised they want every single column to be filled with information, such as Mobile number, Telephone number, your size, salary range... &....&.....&...... Haha.... Heck lah! I want to play play only..... wait scarliy people really call me then I die lah! Moreover, I didn't read the term and agreement......... haha..... ok! Ok! stop playing a fool. People here are serious with their future...... hahaha...... :p
Actually, I personally think that SDU-SDS is quite smart in doing this promoting by giving FOC membership and Password. People who have very big curiosity will login and see what is all about in this website. Actually, I am curious too, if not I won't login right! haha........ But I did not update lah...... Maybe when one day I suddenly feel extremely lonely, YES, I may update my profile but not now. My life is still very colourful and wonderful to me..... hehe..... feel very freedom and comfortable now.
Oh yes! I went to their website http://www.lovebyte.org.sg/web/ent_p_home.asp. Then I click on "Events"...... then I realise they also have courses such as Salsa, yoga and others lah! hehehe..... my "business" mind coming up again...... maybe I can contact SDU-SDS, to hold a class there. Not teaching Yoga but YogaDance. This is a dance that can bond the relationship together...... hahaha.... good ideal..... oops.... shhhh....... is should be 商业机密..... must be keep to yourself.... hahaha...... siao!

Valentine Day!
Last Saturday, Siew Lan was back in Singapore. Have been 2 years not seeing her liao. She still remains the same except more wrinkles at the corners of the eyes. Oh, oh, forget to introduce who’s her. She is one of my friends, San’s roommate cum schoolmate in Hawaii. Whenever she is back in Singapore we will meet up. She is a Malaysian, but she will purposely travel down to Singapore to meet up with some of her friends. In year 2004, we visited her and stay at her apartment for about 2-3 weeks. Wah....... times really fly. It was so fun and romantic over there.
I remember we went during New Year Eve 2003, so when we reached there, it was still a New Year Eve. Haha….. and you can see fireworks everywhere. They can buy their own fireworks and play it at their back yard. Wah..... Wonderful!
Every Friday night, there will be fireworks along the Waikiki beach. And if you are walking along the street, you may see the fireworks flying all over your head. Haha..... can tell you hor, it was a very romantic place lor...... wonderful sunset, beautiful Beaches, cooling Sea breeze, big sea wave, plenty of stars in the sky, colourful fireworks....... haiz, expect my partner was a gal lah...... haha...... anyway, still not much diffi, we still create our own romance....... except that we cannnnnn’t KISS each other and do something else lah!..... errrh..... you should know lah! Don’t act innocent leh! Hahaha......... Siao! Hahaha.......
Ok, back to topic, so coincident it was a VALENTINE Day!!!! Hahaha...... And all of us are still single, so we so called had a “celebration” together...... San, Siew Lan, Priya and Me.
This was the 1st time I met Priya as well. She was both of them Schoolmate. We had our lunch at Marina Sq (one of the restaurant), and had been sitting down there eating and talking and eating and talking for 4 hrs or more.
Actually, it was more like a classmate gathering, they were talking or so called gossiping their classmate....... This guy how and how and how, and then this girl and that guy how….. and then that guy and this girl married and stay in where and where and then move to where and where.......haha....... (like what we did when we have class gathering)....... hahaha........And there was a funny story came out from Priya.
She told us, during her school days in Hawaii, her cousin and her cousin’s friends (a couple) visited her so they decided to climb the Diamond Head. Diamond Head is a volcanic crater. See link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_Head,_Hawaii
It will take you about 1-2 hrs to climb up to the mountian top. The pathway were all steps. Priya and her cousin were those very unfit kind of person....... So they intend to walk slowly. But the couple chose to walk very fast because they were anxious to reach the top. Before, you can climb up to the very top to view the city, you must walk passed a short distance of narrow cave (if I am not wrong, can’t remember very well.) It was quite dark inside, sometime you need a torch.
Then when you walk to the end of the cave there was an exit. The exit was just a natural mountain cave exit. Without doors, and very short and small. You must sqeeze yourself in and out the exit. If you were too fat, hehe....... Good luck to you........ go and think of a way to fold yourself through.
Then their friend’s husband was so anxious, he did not bend enough to pass through the exit, he bang onto the wall (the wall is not like our cement wall, the wall is the cave stone wall)..... haha..... immediately, he fainted. Hahaha....... lucky nothing serious, just a shocked and fainted.
This was not the end, then his wife, haha..... walked too fast, ended up can’t catch her breath in the cave...... hahaha...... when she reach the open space at the top..... she feel giddy and throw.....
Lucky, there was a so called “guided” near the top of the mountain, so he give both of them water to drink. hehehe..... And Priya and her cousin both felt. Alamak! Hahaha.
Me very bad hor....... I still can laugh at people...... hahaha......
I had been there as well, and tell you. It was very windy at the top, and the view was. wah...... excellent! Can see the Wakiki beach and the hotels nearby..... very good view lor.
Before, we go back home, we asked Siew Lan to come back every Valentine Day, so that we can celebrate together. haha..... Ooopsss...... that mean 4 of us must be single for another year is it??? Hahaha......

GOT IT!
Hurray!!!...... finally with putting in so many hardwork in my YOGA, I GOT IT!!!! Happy, Happy!....... Finally manage to pass the “exam” arranged by PA and become one of their members as a trainer now. Hehe.
During mid Jan this year, my friends and I (total 3 of us) went for the “exam” arranged by PA. Actually, it was an interview plus demo. They wanted us to stimulate it as the 1st session of the class and what will you do? How you introduce yoga to the class? What is the Do’s and Don’ts? What are the yoga poses you teach? What are the benefits and limitations? and..... and etc.
It was quite siong...... kept talking and doing demo at the same time. Then the classroom was so empty, just only 2 interviewers and me. It can make you very nervous. One of the interviewer is PA experience trainer, she look so stern to me. Hehe….. made me more nervous lor..... ended up talk also cannot talk properly. Even my brain turned blank at certain time. Hahaha...... So I can say I have no confidence to pass this “exam”.
2 weeks later, 2 of my friends received letter by post from PA and they didn’t make it. I am the only one didn’t receive the “bad” news.….. so I cross my fingers lor..... Then about last week, my teacher checked with PA and they told her I “passed”. They are processing the letter for me.
So until yesterday, I finally get the letter. Haha! I am very surprise to pass this “exam”! You know why? Because as mentioned earlier, I have no confident and the worst thing is my teacher do not have confident on me too..... haha...... The other 2 friends are also my teacher students. They learnt yoga a few years earlier then me. Furthermore, beside Cert. in Yoga Instructors’, they also have cert in Yoga Therapy. So my teacher asked me to buck up, study more in anatomy. Ended up, 我这匹冷马跑赢..... Anybody win money? Who bet me win? Hahaha......
According to PA, why I got it is because I teached slowly...... explained each posture slowly and not too rush. Actually, that day I was so nervous until don’t know how to talk..... haha..... inorder to clam myself down, I talked very slowly. This is to enable me to have amber time to think...... Haha...... I paused one after another movement, because my brain is generating what should I teach or say next. Haha...... This became a benefits to me! Hahaha......
My new class starting very soon...... but don’t know in time to change it from my teacher name to my name or not.
My teacher, Irene, she was so kind. She holds a class at Yio Chu Kang CC under her name. This class was given by one of my Yogadance classmate. He is taking a night class on every Wednesday, so he had no choice but give it up. So when Irene knew it, she quickly asked him to give her this class.
Hehe...... Thanks a lot! Irene and Michael. You are my 贵人!
Dear friends who did not manage to get it, don’t be disappointed. I still believe your gals are still better then me. Is just the interviewer expectation is abit different from the commercial market. 加油！加油！加油！Keep it up!

Chingay Parade 31 Jan 2009!
This year Chingay was really a very GOOD one! Approximately every 2 years, I will have the chance to watch Chingay. My sister is a Chinese dance teacher in CC, therefore sometimes their dance group will participate in Chingay Parade. So I automatically become a Chingay supporter each time.
If my sister managed to get free tickets, I will always be there……. I remember there is once I bring my 2 nephews and mum to watch Chingay too! The kids like it a lot!

This year my sis participates in the parade under Wearable Art Team. Their costume was made up of any recycle things. Hehe…. Did you saw a bear bear costume during the parade? Soooo cute….. but lor damn heavy lor…
Initially, she told me she can’t get any free tickets this year. If I would like to join them, I will be a volunteer wearing their T-Shirt and helps to carry some of their light belongings. Hehe…. But don’t know why the very last mins, she said she manage to get 2 tickets for me and my mum.
Every year, Chingay was at Orchard Road but this year was at Padang. The stage was so nicely done, and the building was lighted up with colourful lighting. Wow…… beautiful. Then hor……. This year was the first time we got the seats at Area 1 (the best station; area which VIP seats). Good location. Can see the fireworks just right above my head…. Wow………

The last 花车 from PAYM (PA youth movement)
This year the theme of Chingay is "Wonderland- 梦幻装艺".
This is the first time they do it as a drama but in a open space.
Overall, I personally feel that this year Chingay is the BEST one!
Aiya.... I should change into Chingay T-Shirt and pretend as a volunteer so that I can remain at the Parade ground and keep snaping photos on those performers hor...... Why I didn't think of that earlier..... haha....
If my sister managed to get free tickets, I will always be there……. I remember there is once I bring my 2 nephews and mum to watch Chingay too! The kids like it a lot!

This year my sis participates in the parade under Wearable Art Team. Their costume was made up of any recycle things. Hehe…. Did you saw a bear bear costume during the parade? Soooo cute….. but lor damn heavy lor…
Initially, she told me she can’t get any free tickets this year. If I would like to join them, I will be a volunteer wearing their T-Shirt and helps to carry some of their light belongings. Hehe…. But don’t know why the very last mins, she said she manage to get 2 tickets for me and my mum.
Every year, Chingay was at Orchard Road but this year was at Padang. The stage was so nicely done, and the building was lighted up with colourful lighting. Wow…… beautiful. Then hor……. This year was the first time we got the seats at Area 1 (the best station; area which VIP seats). Good location. Can see the fireworks just right above my head…. Wow………

小兔妹 - Her waist accessories is made from "Hello Kitty" Ang Bao.
She is P1 liao, but look like K1.
Her costume is made from recycle back. She do it herself. She do the hat herself too!
Hehe... she is cute.... I like her T-Shirt. If you see carefully, her waist accessories is made from milk power spoon.

The first impression when I see this 花车..... hehe..... you know what I say? "Oh, is Madagascar!" Haha............... 真没知识、没水准.............so mah lu...... hahaha! Alamak! Noah's Ark become a Madagascar. Watch too many cartoons liao......hahaha........ :p

Super Siao onz cheer lead........ every where you can see them cheering.
They have a welcome cheer when you enter the Entrance and a goodbye cheers at the exit. The cheers is something like:
