Proud to be a SIngaporean.

Actually, I can tell you I am glad I am a Singaporean...... Feel so blissed to be a Singaporean. This few years, I can feel Singapore has "Market" into International very well as compare to 5-10 years back. Whenever I go..... when they heard "I am a Singaporean." They will give you a nice smiling face..... and tell you :"Singapore! A nice place!" You can tell from their facial expression, they are admire you........

When you tell Mauritius ppls you are Singaporean, they will remember the Mustafa Shopping centre. S. Africa ppls will remember the latest event - the night race, Formula 1.

Not that I angka (pro) government here lah but in certain way they really do a great job for Singapore. You can strongly feel that when you are traveling around the world.

You know why I say that...... When we come back from S. Africa and transit in Mauritius… we face small problem at the custom. Until now, we also don’t understand what really happened to the transit counter because they speak in French. The passengers were quarreling with the custom officer in French. Many ppls were waiting to redo their boarding pass at the transit counter.

Actually is a long story, so to cut short I just want to say there is a French lady commend on this.....“You from where?” “Singapore” “Oh! Singapore, SURE PASSED.” You see..... even a French also had confidenced that SINGAPOREAN had no problem at custom. And then she mentioned a few more country..... and said: "sure FAILED!" (they are very opened.)

But is a nice experience during the transit, seeing how French ppls went on “strike” with the custom officer. Really a mini strike.... Hehe..... Even the custom police officers were there to make sure these ppls were in controlled. You know what they do!!! ..... haha ..... they waited until buay tahan at the transit counter.... Then they intended to break through the security check point in between the transit counter to enter the departing hall..... haha...... (Transit counter is at arrival hall; next door is departing hall and they just open a small door to allow the transit passengers to passes through this door with a security check / scan. We had been waiting for more than 2 hrs and this French is much more earlier then us to arrive.... So u can imagine.).

There was one lady leader.... Shouting in french.... And the rest follow her...... She shouted once and follow by the rest..... haha.... Although don't know what are they shouting at..... but feel very fun lor ..... I am enjoying it. HAHA...... 不知死!

They stopped when the custom police officers were there...... haha...... A gentle "strike" only.

In Cape Town, we also talked to some other ppls, and all these ppls made me strongly feel good as a Singaporean. Although I know some of them is just want to please you...... but in average, they still feel Singapore is a good country.......
